And who is David? He set up Growbiz International in 1994 and has been at the helm since. Prior to establishing Growbiz he spent 15 years in various countries in Asia as a trade diplomat for the New Zealand government and, more latterly, as Managing Director of a multi national food manufacturing operation in Malaysia and Singapore. Okay, he is a bit old-fashioned still believing in honesty, reliability and being a nice guy (most times!!), so you get what you see when you deal with David! Background Living overseas brought home to David the difficulty of obtaining a comprehensive range of top New Zealand wines. On returning to New Zealand, he established Growbiz International Ltd to access the best New Zealand wineries could offer and to make available a diverse range of top New Zealand wines to clients overseas. With enthusiastic and on going support from New Zealand wineries, the operation quickly took off and today goes from strength to strength. Initially Growbiz International Ltd targeted New Zealand diplomatic missions worldwide. As a testament to its success in supplying a top range of competitively priced New Zealand wines, Growbiz now supplies over 80% of New Zealand diplomatic missions and also missions from countries such as Britain, Canada, Colombia, Denmark, Holland, Japan, Sweden, and Singapore and the USA.
